CPD Certified Training Approved by Skills for Care

This course will empower the younger generation with confidence on how to respond to a catastrophic situation including multi-casualty injuries in any given scenario.

The objective of this course is for the learner to understand the actions to take in order to stay safe and summon help if threatened by an aggressor and to utilises the story of an intruder who starts shooting in the school

The four key messages this course will communicate is:

  1. Schools are safe places. Where we live is a safe country.
  2. In the unlikely event that students have to face a threat, in school or out of school, there are simple steps to take to help keep yourself and others safe, and to help those who are hurt.
  3. If there is an immediate threat—run, hide and tell
  4. When it is safe to do so, help treat the injured (treat)

Ultimately, this course will help parents, teachers, school students and the younger generation to stay safe and improvise effective treatment before emergency services are available to provide professional medical support.

50% of the certificate income for this course will be donated to citizenAID.
