About QCF Qualifications
All ProTrainings courses are designed to meet the requirements of the Ofqual Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) and many are available as a QCF course certified through Future Awards and Qualifications. To obtain a QCF certificate for your course, you will be required to attend at one of our national training centres to complete the practical required elements and examination. This will incur additional certification and training fees, which vary dependent on the course you are taking.
QCF qualifications are not required in all cases. They may attract funding and enable the student to gain QCF credits, which can be used towards other qualifications.
What is QCF?
The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) is the framework for creating and accrediting qualifications in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Vocational qualifications on the Qualifications and Credit Framework are new, work-related qualifications. They are designed to allow you to learn in a way that suits you, and give you the skills that employers are looking for. There are already lots to choose from, in a wide range of subjects. The QCF sorts qualifications into a number of "levels" that place different demands on you as a learner.
Save time and money for your company with QCF training.
If you have a number of employees who require QCF training and want to reduce the cost of training and number of employee hours lost, we can help you with a blend of online training for a wide range of workplace courses and arrange for an instructor to come to you to complete the practical required elements of the course. We can also provide QCF approved first aid training onsite at your premises through our national network of instructors.
Accreditation and Recognition.
ProTrainings are approved to provide QCF courses through Future Awards and Qualifications Ltd. (an Awarding Body regulated by Ofqual). Future Awards and Qualification's recognition number is RN5136.
