This First Responder on Scene first aid course is an emergency pre-hospital care course aimed at individuals who want those extra skills, or work in an environment where they may need to provide immediate emergency care. The professions which will benefit from this course include: Fire & Rescue, Police, Military, Construction, Search and Rescue, RLNI, Lifeguards and Security staff including close protection.
This course is fully interactive and on the last day includes scenario training, this will give you the confidence and knowledge to put into place the correct actions before the emergency services arrive. We use actors from the Casualty Union (CU) recreating real-life situations as closely as possible. The CU use realistic full make-up, and you will use all the equipment you have learnt to use over the past few days. This hands-on approach ensures you’re well-prepared for the challenges you may face in an emergency situation.
