This blended first aid course is split into two parts: online learning (Part 1) and a practical training session (Part 2). You will gain access to Part 1 of the course at least one month before the start date via your Pro Training account, and it must be fully completed before attending Part 2 to ensure you have the necessary knowledge foundation. Please log in using your registration details, complete all modules by the required deadline (e.g., 48 hours before the practical session), and contact the designated support team if you experience any technical issues. You will also receive a calendar invite from your tutor within 30 days of the course date. For the practical session, please arrive 10–15 minutes early for registration and bring proof of completion for Part 1, along with comfortable clothing suitable for practical activities, and any refreshments you may need (unless otherwise provided). To help us manage training resources effectively, cancellations made once you have started the online learning will incur a £30 charge to your department; cancellations made with more than three working days’ notice are free of charge if the online element has not yet been started; and cancellations within 48 hours or non-attendance without notice will result in a £15 charge (or £30 if online learning has already commenced). If you are unable to attend, please notify your line manager and the Health & Safety team as soon as possible. We look forward to supporting you throughout both stages of the course and helping you achieve your FAW qualification.
