This 6 hour Immediate Life Support (ILS) Level 3 (VTQ) course is designed for healthcare professionals who may need to respond to a deteriorating patient or cardiac arrest. It covers early recognition using the ABCDE approach, high-quality CPR, defibrillation, airway management, and essential teamwork and leadership skills. This ILS training for healthcare professionals is ideal for annual CPD, staff updates, or preparing for real world emergency response in your practice.

Key learning outcomes include:

Recognition and prevention of cardiopulmonary arrest
Early identification and management of deteriorating patients using the ABCDE approach
High-quality CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and safe defibrillation
Basic airway management techniques
Effective communication, teamwork, and initial leadership skills in emergency situations
