A lone worker is someone who works alone, without direct or close supervision. This can include a wide variety of jobs and professions, from security guards and night shift workers to delivery drivers and remote field workers. Employers have a responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of their lone workers, which may involve providing training, equipment, and support to help them manage risks and respond to emergencies. This lone worker course looks at isolated incidents where a major or catastrophic injury has occurred when no one was around to help.
