Workplace first aid including electrical-injury response and care
The ProTrainings First Aid at Work including Electrical Injuries Level 3 (VTQ) qualification is carefully crafted to align with the workplace first aid requirements established by both the UK Resuscitation Council and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
This course addresses the essential life-saving skills needed in professional settings, guiding learners through effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the correct use of the recovery position when someone is unconscious, and the prompt relief of choking incidents. The course also covers how to perform both a primary and a secondary survey to assess injuries, how to apply bandages and slings safely, and how to manage and treat the particular risks posed by electrical shocks and burns.
