This Construction Safety Awareness course provides essential knowledge for anyone working on or entering construction sites. It covers the most common site hazards and explains how to recognise and control risks to prevent accidents and injuries.
Learners will explore key topics including legal duties, site induction and access control, and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The course also covers high-risk activities such as working at height, manual handling, and the safe use of tools and machinery.
Additional focus is given to site safety fundamentals including housekeeping, traffic management, hazardous substances (COSHH), electrical safety, fire prevention, emergency procedures, and worker welfare.
By the end of the course, learners will have a clear understanding of how to work safely on construction sites and contribute to a safer working environment for everyone.
