Build confidence and with hands-on Working at Height training, completing Part 2 of your Level 2 (VTQ) qualification.

CPD Certified Training Approved by Skills for Care

The Working at Height Level 2 (VTQ)™ – Classroom Blended Part 2 course provides learners with hands-on training to build on the knowledge gained during the online element of their blended learning.

During this classroom session, learners develop the skills and confidence needed to work safely at height and understand how to reduce the risk of falls and injuries in the workplace. The course covers the safe use and inspection of ladders and steps, recognising common fall hazards, selecting appropriate control measures, fall prevention and fall restraint systems, personal fall protection equipment, and emergency and rescue considerations.

Learners also take part in understanding the importance of the safe use of harnesses and fall restraint equipment, allowing them to learn from an experienced instructor.

The training reinforces the requirements of the Work at Height Regulations 2005, including the hierarchy of controls: avoiding work at height wherever possible, preventing falls where work at height cannot be avoided, and minimising the distance and consequences of a fall.

This course is ideal for employees and individuals who may be required to work at height as part of their role and need both the knowledge and practical skills to do so safely.

On successful completion of the training and assessment, learners receive a digital certificate and access to their ProTrainings dashboard, including supporting learning resources.

The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.

This is the classroom-only part 2 of a 2-part blended course. Before taking this course, you MUST complete the online course.
