First Aid Tailored to Outdoor Pursuits. Feel confident with your First Aid skills when out in the open-air.

Our Blended Outdoor Pursuits 16-Hour First Aid Part 2 course is designed to meet the requirements set by many outdoor and adventure activity providers. It covers both primary and secondary care and is specifically tailored to outdoor environments, where access to emergency services may be limited or delayed. This makes it ideal for instructors, group leaders, and individuals involved in outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, watersports, and expeditions.
You must complete the online Part 1 of the course before attending the Blended Part 2 classroom session. This ensures you are fully prepared and meet the course requirements.
If you are looking to meet the standards set by the Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL), please ensure you complete the full 16-hour classroom-based version of the course.
If you require a shorter course to suit your needs, we also offer more compact options, as well as a range of workplace-specific first aid courses.
All of our first aid training programmes are fully aligned with the most up-to-date UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines, and comply with current HSE (Health and Safety Executive) requirements.
The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
This is the classroom-only part 2 of a 2-part blended course. Before taking this course, you MUST complete the online course.
