This ProTrainings Vocational Training Qualification (VTQ)™ is designed for individuals who currently work in confined spaces or those preparing to undertake work in environments where confined space hazards may be present.

The course provides learners with an understanding of the principles of confined space working, including the identification of hazards, assessment of risks, implementation of appropriate control measures and the importance of following safe systems of work.

Learners will develop an awareness of the potential dangers associated with confined spaces, the relevant health and safety responsibilities, and the precautions required to minimise risks and maintain a safe working environment.

This qualification also provides a foundation for further training and progression towards more advanced, role-specific confined space qualifications and practical competency assessments.

The course has been developed with reference to the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997, associated Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance and recognised principles of safe confined space working.

The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
