The ProTrainings Service Dog First Aid course is aimed at anyone working with active or retired police dogs and was designed in association with the London Retired Police Dog Trust.

This qualification is available to complete as online training, in face-to-face classroom or as blended learning that combines both online e-Learning and classroom training.

Learners will enjoy covering a variety of subjects such as keeping your dog safe, car accidents, drowning, shock, CPR, bandaging, bits and stings, illnesses and more.

This course is delivered over half a day and the certificate is valid for 3 years. You will need to attend the course again to renew the qualification.

The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.

This course comes with 4.0 hours of CPD, although the time to complete the course online may be less than this. Total course time includes 2 hours and 25 minutes of video training as well as knowledge reviews, final test, remedial help and reviewing downloaded material.
