First Aid for Residential Staff

CPD Certified Training Approved by Skills for Care

The First Aid for Residential Staff qualification will provide each learner with knowledge and skills on how to deal with a casualty who needs first aid support.

This course will encourage learners to unite, empower and engage in first aid situations by building their confidence so they can go out and provide first aid assistance.

Each student on the course will spend 5-6 hours learning why it is important to provide first aid and will demonstrate how to do CPR, using an AED, placing a casualty in the recovery position, demonstrating the technique for a choking casualty, bandaging a casualty and more.

The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
