The IPAD AED Awareness video course provides an introduction to automatic and semi-automatic defibrillators, focusing on safe and effective use in real-world emergencies. Learners will explore the IPAD AED range, including SP1, NFK, SPR, and trainer units, and gain knowledge of unpacking, setup, and routine maintenance. The course covers AED pads and batteries, storage, signage, community units, troubleshooting, and practical demonstrations using HeartSine 350 and 500 devices. Participants will also learn appropriate actions after AED use, post-resuscitation procedures, and the psychological impact of emergencies, including post-traumatic stress awareness. By the end of the course, learners will have the knowledge to understand, maintain, and use IPAD AEDs safely and confidently.
The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
